Ari Pine is a market maker in gold options on the Comex representing Prime International Trading. Since 2003 he has been making markets in gold options and taking positions in other markets including foreign exchange and fixed income. He has traded in a variety of markets and environments including: trading short term debt for JP Morgan, equity options on the PCX and proprietary positioning for a volatility hedge fund. In addition to trading he co-founded options data and research firm Premium Research. The necessary data infrastructure and research for trading is the origin of Pine Research & Trading.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the California Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Arts from Wesleyan University.
